Tara has extensive experience in all facets of real estate.
From management, onboarding new agents, coaching, internet leads training, to helping buyers & sellers navigate through the ever-changing world of real estate, Tara has a keen understanding of what's important to her clients. She is an incredible listener and problem solver that thrives on finding buyers their perfect home. Her eye for detail is a key component in assisting sellers stage their homes and getting them ready for sale. Tara’s marketing savvy is second to none.
Born in The Dalles and growing up in the Aloha/Hillsboro area and residing for the last 20+ years in Sherwood, Tara knows the Westside. She’s been providing exceptional real estate service since
2009. In her free time, Tara loves traveling to sunny destinations with her husband Tom, browsing antique shops hunting for treasures, refinishing furniture, and spending time with her adult daughters.
Tom is a lifelong Oregonian who was born and raised in Portland and has lived in many of its suburbs including Tigard, Tualatin, Beaverton, Gladstone, Canby, and has called Sherwood home for over 20 years. After a rewarding career in radio, he embarked on his real estate journey at the end of 2007, just as the financial crisis started crushing real estate homeowners and investors. What started out as an eye-opening experience learning how to navigate and negotiate short sales
and bank owned properties, evolved into new construction sales with a small local builder to complement helping local buyers and sellers build equity and start new adventures.
Fast forward to Spring 2019 and Tom decided that it was time to go out on his own and launch TBH Real Estate. His goal has always been to provide excellent local, client-focused real estate services. TBH at its core is To Be Honest. It’s communication, creativity, transparency, and collaboration. It’s a true team effort involving TBH and each & every one of our clients.
Together with his wife Tara, they specialize in selling homes and properties in the Portland Metro area, the Willamette Valley, Wine Country and the Oregon Coast. We Sell Everywhere.
When he’s not working, he loves traveling with Tara, tinkering on their property, and driving his ‘66 Mustang.
